OUR STORY

images bibleChristian Provision Ministries began in a very small building with a very small number of members. The founding pastor, Charles Mellette and a few families soon found a larger space and the growth of the church continued.

As time passed, many new families were added, and the church outgrew the available space. With much prayer land had been purchased for a new building. Along with this land came 5 apartment and 140 acres.

In 2009, Christian Provision Ministries moved onto a new ministry campus featuring a 700 seat worship facility, with plans to expand their ministry by adding a family life center, single family homes, senior housing facility and business complex.

Christian Provision Ministries is a place where people from all walks of life fit in and find opportunities to grow. The church’s primary purpose is people… to change lives and build communities and to instruct them on how to establish and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

OUR BELIEF

Inspiring Worship – A worship service lifting up Jesus Christ that warmly welcomes guests is real, relevant, passionate and is a life-giving experience for all who attend our services.

Passionate Prayer – We believe all we do must be founded upon prayer. We encourage our people to live out their spiritual passions through authentic expressions of intimacy with God.

Loving Relationships – It is our conviction that Love is one of the most important and transforming of all virtues. We desire to express pure love and acceptance to all who enter our doors.

Mission Driven – At CPM, we’re fulfilling the Great Commission by living the Great Commandment: Loving God and Loving People. Local outreaches and a strong investment in our youth are but a few ways we are putting our love into action.

Healthy Families – Recognizing that one of the greatest battlefields and proving grounds of our faith in Christ is right within the home, we are committed to strengthening marriages and families.

Children and Youth Ministries – We place high value on our children and teens. Our church is aware of the life-long rewards of excellent ministry to the emerging generations.

Creative Simplicity – We must be committed to change and willing to innovate, at the same time maintaining functional structures that are refreshingly practical, balanced, and pure.

Excellence – We believe excellence should be in all things, and all things should be to the glory of God.

OUR FAITH

Christian Provision Ministries believes the Bible to be without contradiction or error.

We believe there is one God eternally existent in the triune personage of the Eternal Spirit, identified and related to as God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son and the Person of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to the believer’s prayer.

We further believe that salvation achieved through confession of the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior is essential to personal regeneration.

We believe that through the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the giving of tithes (10 percent) and offerings according to Malachi 3:10.

We believe that through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have the power to live Holy lives in accordance with God’s word and to serve, protect, and obey the constitution of the United States.
